Your local roofing team in Stoke-on-Trent
Abbotts Flat Roofing is a local roofing business built on doing roofs properly and treating people the way we would want to be treated.
Flat roofing is all we do
Flat roofing is our trade, not a sideline. With over 15 years of hands-on experience, we fit and repair roofs day in, day out across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire.
We started Abbotts Flat Roofing because too many people were being let down: roofs patched instead of fixed, quotes that crept up halfway through, and tradespeople who did not turn up. We wanted to do it differently.
From single-storey extensions and garages to dormers, porches and commercial units, we install built-up felt, GRP fibreglass, single-ply and EPDM, lead, liquid applied and green roofing. Whatever the job, you deal with the people actually doing the work.
Preparation is the job. The covering that goes on last only ever performs as well as the deck, the falls and the details underneath it.
We have seen how roofs fail
Fifteen years teaches you the difference between a roof that looks finished and a roof that is actually right. Most of the failures we get called to were avoidable: felt laid over a rotten deck, flashings pointed with mortar instead of dressed in, details rushed on a Friday afternoon.
That experience shapes how a job with us runs. It starts with a proper look at the roof, not a guess from the kerb. You get a written quote that says exactly what we found, what we recommend and why, and what it costs. If a repair will honestly do the job, that is what we will tell you.
Once we are on site, we protect what is around us, keep you posted as the work progresses, and leave the place tidy.
